Neighbourhood 1C1L #3 - Ian

Start of a new series of photos taken while I do walks with my little girl (3 month old) on the weekend. I take her with a pram together with One Camera and One Lens (1C1L)

My neighbour Ian's 1983 Commodore. Ian is an old man who has been living next door with his wife Mary for 50 years and driving this car since new. They have been great neighbours and next time I will ask them if I could take their portrait!

I don't know what I like about this shot, but it's quite eye catching even from looking at the negative.

white water (many photos)

It was an interesting morning at the white water stadium in Penrith last Saturday to photograph the Southern Zone Championships and State Selection Race.

I am not good at sport shots (due to my slow reaction! haha) - luckily my camera has taken care of most of the action required. The white water was beautiful!

Tec: D3, 200F2, between F4-5.6, 1/1000s to 1/5000s @ ISO1600 (I wanted more DOF and fast shutter speed)

Neighbourhood 1C1L #2

Start of a new series of photos taken while I do walks with my little girl (3 month old) on the weekend. I take her with a pram together with One Camera and One Lens (1C1L)

The photo on the left was taken with Kodak T400CN film and the one on right was with Fuji Sensia 400 converted to BW in post. The Sensia is pretty contrasty compared with the T400CN. As you would probably be aware by now that I am pretty happy with my new V700 scanner :-)
